Blue is the colour of the Sea and Sky.

We will be beachcombing for sea weed, toes in the sand.

Returning to Glyph Gallery Creative Space to create beautiful blue memories of a lovely day with like minded friends.

Working with Cyanotypes printing and overlaying with lino cut prints.

A weekend of exploration and intrigue!

Materials list for students to bring to the workshop

Jacquard Cyanotype kit:    Approx. $30 (Will produce almost 100 prints)

Black plastic bag.

Foam brush.

Hot pressed Watercolour or Printmaking paper (at least 160 or higher gsm) an A3 size pad.

Stencils if you have some but we will also cut some.

Previously cut lino plates or at least one A5 size lino block.

Some lino cutting tools if you have them.  I will also bring some.

Black ink (I use Caligo) but any printmaking ink you have. (Colour OK too)

Palette knives for mixing ink.

Glass plate for rolling ink (if you have one)

A couple of brayers (rollers)

Rubber gloves.

Paper towel or rags.

A dish or new cat litter tray for rinsing prints.

A plastic bag for collecting seaweed.

Glue stick.

Scissors.

Metal ruler.

Cutting mat.

Plastic cloth for tables.

Some newspapers.

Op shop picture frame with back board and glass.  No larger than A4. More than one is OK too.

At least 8 bulldog clips.

Brown table/medical jar/bottle
