Learn how to work with your chosen design either using direct or non direct method using mesh, then choose your colours, paying attention to the textures, shapes and how to manage negative and positive spaces in your design. You will be shown how to cut and shape with tile nippers and how to achieve different effects using different shapes, sizes, textures and materials to create depth and interest in their works. On Sunday, once your glue has set overnight, we will show you how to grout and then clean your mosaic ready to take home!

"I have been making mosaics for over 15 years with community groups of all ages in the Wimmera. Most recently as an Artist in Residence at a local primary school, where there was great joy and pride from young people upon their exhibition. I hold a BA and post-grad in Visual Arts and I am in my final year of an Arts Therapy Masters. I advocate for the use of quality materials and tools. I believe that we all can tap into our creativity if we allow ourselves the opportunity to slow down and explore. I enjoy meeting new people and guiding them to successful outcomes with my engaging supportive nature."
