2D and 3D art in any medium is welcome, although we cannot accommodate video art at this stage.

Artists can enter their own original, uncopied works in the online form on the SW Makers website. Members pay $15 per entry and non-members pay $25 per entry.

Artworks must be delivered to 38 Bank Street, Port Fairy between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Sunday 1st December

An entry may not necessarily be displayed. The SW Makers Association reserves the right, at any stage of the Exhibition, to hang or withdraw any work. Our entry fee is for handling and so is not refundable.

2D artworks shall be suitably framed ready for hanging. Stretched canvas is considered suitable framing, provided it has adequate cross members. 2D artworks must be fitted with substantial hanging wire with flush “D hooks” so that there are no protrusions that can damage other works in transit.

Groups of small works are to be entered as either individually and sold as such or as a collection and sold as a group. They cannot be entered both ways.

3D pieces must be less than 800x800x800mm and 15kg, unless prior approval is granted. The installation of 3D works to be clearly described or an image provided by the artist.

Each work must be clearly labelled with the artist name, the title of the work and sale price. Labels must be securely attached to the back or under side of the work.

Each entrant shall complete an entry form & submit with payment.

All artworks entered for the exhibition shall be for sale.

SW Makers Association shall be entitled to retain 30% of the sale price as commission.

SW Makers Association will exercise all reasonable care in handling the works submitted, but will not be responsible for the loss of or any damage to any works while in their custody. It is strongly recommended that artists organise appropriate insurance for their works.

Entries must be delivered free of all charges. No payment whatsoever will be made by SW Makers Association for freight or other charges incurred in delivery or return of the entry.

SW Makers Association may allow any work entered to be reproduced by any medium for advertising & promotion purposes.

The Sale Price shall include any applicable Goods & Services Tax (GST).

All entries must be received in accordance with entry closing dates & times. Late entries may be accepted, but they may not be catalogued.

Artworks sold prior to Sunday 22nd December may be collected on that day by the artist or the buyer. Artists may choose to submit another artwork to replace sold items.

All unsold artworks are to be collected from 38 Bank street, Port Fairy at the end of the exhibition, Sunday 2nd February.
